I just looked through and read your website and I want to tell you what a loving tribute it is to
Lady. You and Jess are amazing animal lovers and I know that every time you rescue an
animal they are thankful for you and the home you give them. Lady is a special dog and I know
that she is so proud of the way you have honored her here.

I had a similar experience with my female Dobie, she had
been ill for awhile, I had to keep her in her kennel cage when I was at
work, as she had no control over her bladder, doctor could do nothing, one
day when I came home I went to let her out so she could run outside,
instead she looked up at me gave my hand a lick and passed on, seems as
though she waited for me to come home,. that she did not want to pass on
alone. She was the love of my life.

I posted a message on the Second Chance Dobes Discussion Forum page to invite people to
experience Lady's story. Unexpectedly I received so many wonder replies about the loss of
Lady and about her website. I would like to thank everyone for all the words of support and
encouragement. It is amazing how many good and kind people there really is out there.
